Abstract. Nature is the source of life, unique and unrepeatable. It is home and ecological framework for all living beings, including man. Everything that makes Earth unique in the universe known to us, beautiful landscapes, rivers, lakes, seas, oceans, mountains, plains, forests, villages, at the beginning of the XXI century has such a look that our ancestors could not even guess. The earth is a gift of the universe. Man's negative impact on nature brought into question not only the survival of natural ecosystems, habitats, plants and animals, but also their own kind. Many plant and animal species have been brought to the brink of survival, because of that, red books and lists are formed, but unfortunately a large number disappeared from Earth forever and they are in the black book. The disappearance of species is associated with the destruction of habitat. Destruction of habitats reduces the surface under natural ecosystems. All this leads to major disruptions in nature. The goal of environmental protection is not only the protection of ecosystems, habitats, plants and animals, but also rapprochement of states and nations. Therefore, the area which is located on the territory of Serbia and Croatian, a Biosphere Reserve "Mura-Drava-Danube", which is on the territory of Serbia emphasizes the special nature reserve "Upper Danube", nature park "Tikvara", and special nature reserve "Karađorđevo", and in the area of Croatian emphasizes nature park "Kopački rit", it is necessary to have better protection. This can be done only through joint action and erasing borders, because the environment does not know about borders. Biosphere reserve stretches not only on the Serbian and Croatian territory, but also on the territory of Hungary, Austria and Slovenia. This common "green vision" will be implemented Europe's largest protected area, which has nickname "European Amazon". Rapprochement of two or more states is the fastest and best done through the environment, because it affects on all of us. Protection and law enforcement will be able to ensure the survival of plant and animal species that have an incalculable importance for humans and the planet. We will save the area for future generations and will enable scientists to conduct research, while not interfere with natural processes.

Keywords. Nature, endangered species, protection, environment and rapprochement
